Built with simplicity in mind the Basilica II features a classic three-hand movement with a quick-set date complication powered by a premium Swiss quartz engine. And while the overall look of the Basilica II is eminent the most dramatic aspect is the unique cathedral-style crystal! Made of Krysterna for strength and durability this one-of-kind crystal is domed and custom cut with half-moon facets that give the appearance of side arches like that of an ancient cathedral. The cutting-edge distinctive design of the crystal forms a perfect frame for the unusual grouping of the medieval Arabic numerals on both sides of the aisle. The Luminova filled old-fashioned leaf-style hands make an immaculate consummation to the assembly inside. The distinctly original tonneau-shaped case that houses the Basilica II is milled from solid 316L surgical grade stainless steel; and with a high-polish finish and a classic knurled edge crown the Basilica II is reliably water resistant to 30 meters. For a final touch of grace the Basilica II is secured onto an ever-so supple genuine French leather strap with double-row stitching and fitted with a traditional tang buckle.
