This subwoofer/woofer is great for all PA and musical instrument applications, including bass. It features a Kapton coil former for increased rigidity and thermal protection; a polyamide-coated, 2-layer, 27ga, copper voice coil for lower mass and increased sensitivity; 120oz. ferrite magnet; vented and extended core for increased power handling; die-cast aluminum basket for rigidity; a paper cone; cloth cone edge; and solid composition paper dust cap. Eminence recommends the Kappa Pro 15A as an alternate replacement speaker in the JBL JRX1515, the Yamaha S115V and BR15, the American Audio DLS-15P, and the Mackie SMR450 and SR1530z speaker cabinets.
